MercedesBenz Inspired Lifestyle Shoot

For this project I wanted to try something different than my usual automotive photography. I experimented with the lifestyle aspect of MercedesBenz. I also wanted it to mean something to the logo itself. The three pointed star refers to land, sea, and air. I went to the beach for the connection between land and water, airport for air and land, and the bridge for the connection between all three.

Savannah in Black and White

I set out to document Bay Street and River Street in Savannah, GA. I wanted to expand my photography into street photography and this was my attempt at creating compelling images documenting the street during the day.

Film

Shot on Holga Camera

My goal was to capture downtown Savannah, Ga with my Holga medium format film camera. I bought this film camera for my Photo 114 class a SCAD. This camera was very interesting to use with it light leeks. It is completely manual and quite difficult to use even though I had a great time shooting these photos throughout Savannah.
